I remember reading about Craig's untimely passing... He married his high school sweet heart - Erica Pill...another great school "bud". Craig was down to earth and a real genuine person.. as is Erica. Hope she and her kids are doing better as time has passed.

I remember Craig always surrounded by his posse of buddies and a basketball. I know he had a lot of great friends. I have gotten to know his younger sister Vicki recently here in the bay area, and I know how much he was loved by his family and friends and how much he is missed. Very sad that he passed away so soon.

I was deeply saddened, to say the least, when I heard of Craig's accident. I was on vacation and did not know until after the funeral. Craig and I remained good friends for years. In high school, I also became good friends with his wife, Erica. We lost contact for awhile and then connected again when our kids, Alec and Casey, were in preschool together at Temple Beth Hillel. I have so many wonderful memories of Craig and will always miss him.

Craig was a really fantastic person. He was one of my early friends when I moved to Tarzana in 8th grade and he then became better friends with my brother at Taft so I would still see Craig and Erica often throughout the years. Most importantly, he was the most fantastic dad to his little girls. Erica has pulled it all together. I saw her recently. Craig really was a great partner to Erica. She and I were talking after the funeral at Glenn Goodstein's house and Erica saying, "He did not live up to the deal. He was supposed to help me raise these kids." They had such an incredible relationship. I give Erica so much credit for not moving on, but continuing on, getting into a new relationship and she is raising great kids. Craig is still there as part of that.

Craig was a great guy. With his basketball ability, he was able to immediately make friends. My fondess memory of him at Portola was playing basketball with a group that played pretty much all the time at lunch...he was a great player. The last time I saw him was at Jerry's Deli in Woodland Hills...he was there with his daughters. I remember being impressed as to how great he was with them...the biggest loss will be the fact that his kids missed out on being with him longer.
