Steven was a good friend to me throughout our middle school years and even to my junior year. He and I would ride in the back of his grandfather's truck that had a topper on it the summer of 73 to softball games in Bardstown and Chaplin. I remember we would throw rocks at all the signs on the side of the road to see who was the best at hittng them.

In our 7th grade year Steven had a watch with a wide leather band that he would let me wear. Why I wanted to wear it and that I remember it today, I don't know but I remember it like it was yesterday. I think of Steven often. Love & Miss You Steven.

Steven was a dear friend to me. We had a lot of long talks and lot of laughs. I saw him a couple of weeks before his accident. We had a long talk that night. I'll never forget the "Fonz" stage he went through. Didn't understand it then and I never figured it out. Steven was a great guy. I still miss him so much!

Steve and I were friends as long as anyone. He talked to
me when we were getting shots for the first grade. He
gave me some kind of little buttom because I was scared
of Mr. Walker. Lots of ups and downs over the years.
Enough stories to write several chapters in a book.
The week before he was killed he rode up to Georgetown with me
to move my brother out of an apartment after he graduated
from college. We had a long day of talk and fellowship.
Mark Richardson's mom called me at my parent's to say
he had died.We always wonder about lives cut short.
You know what, he never was a very good driver.
