David was a member of our church group, the Walther League. While we never dated, we spent much time together at church and socializing. He was intelligent, unassuming, gentile and kind. He prefered to be an observer rather than the center of attention.
The last time I saw him was after college when he returned from Vietnam. He was driving a Corvette, I think, a present for his return. He married in his 30's a woman he met thru his BMW club. (He did have good taste in autos.) He changed careers not long before he died. He had been in programming for years but studied and became a Male Nurse, following his heart.
