I didn't really know Michael but to say hello, however,
I think perhaps Michael was one of those angels that I believe God sends to this earth to teach others. He was a pleasant guy who managed to come to school every day; smile, sit in class, study despite his problems. While we all had "small stuff" to worry about he was given the "big stuff" He was a courageous kid who left too soon. Bless you, Michael.
Mike sat in back of me in Modern Euopean History class. He was absent often and we knew it was because he had a seriour disease. When he came back from being out, he acted like nothing was wrong with him. He smiled and made jokes like he was going to be with us forever. He was so brave. It touched me then and still does that one so young had to be so brave. He was a true hero. A beautiful soul.
