Scott West

Scott Charles West, 54, Conroe, TX died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his home.

Born October 25, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Delicia West of Conroe.

Following in his father's footsteps Scott was a Master Electrician. He worked for Volta Industries in Houston for 15 years.

Scott was a loving husband and father; an avid fisherman. He enjoyed working on vehicles of all kinds and was currently restoring his 1977 Chevy Pickup.

Scott is survived by his wife of 29 years, Margaret Arthur; Sons, Jeffery Charles, Noah Alexander, and Gregory Neil all of Conroe. Also surviving are his siblings; Mike (Gwena) West of Hagerstown, MD, Larry (Laura) West of Conroe, Lloyd (Teresa) West of Conroe, Kim (Jim) Pfeifer of Clarkson, NE; Gary West of Conroe, and Janice (Frank) Pickard of Rosenberg, Special nephew, Robert West of Panama City Beach, FL and sister-in-law Teresa Arthur of Cut and Shoot, TX.

Scott will be remembered by many friends, cousins, neices and nephews. He was always willing to take in "strays". He will also be remembered by the dogs he loved Zelda and Vida and the many yard cats.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents and his inlaws Grover and Ulean Arthur, brother Jeffery West; and sisters Lynette West and Margaret Munday. As a dog lover his pets that preceded him are Moose, Tuffy, Precious Brittany, Heidi, Seymour and Shazbot.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 12 at 5-8 P.M. at McNutt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 11:00 A.M at Mims Baptist Church in Conroe. Officiating is Brother Shannon Talley. Guest Pastor is Duane Hamilton of Lifestyle Community Church in Cleveland. Internment following services at Conroe Memorial Gardens.

Lynn Ross

Scott was a wonderful friend, father and husband. He was a great boss too. My son had the privilege of working for him for 11 years. It's pretty cool to have my high school friend be my child's boss. He loved his family and pets with all his heart. R.I.P Scott. You will be forever in our hearts.
