When I was in the 1st & 2nd grades in a country school, my family lived near Bobby and O'neal Parker family. We played together, especially at school. My grandmother Harris cooked in the lunch room of Union school, my 1st grade year. At that time we lived in an area called Bold Springs near Maddox Grocery, the only store / general store for miles around. You could buy a soft drink for a nickle! The dirt road we all lived on no longer exists down toward where their house sat and has long since been overgrown and possibly resubdivided into another residential community. Not sure on this, but a google search shows the bridge over the river gone and the road also ababdoned on both sides and overgrown. Bobby & O'neal were close to us, somewhat like distant family.
