It was so sad to read Janny’s message to us about Scott’s passing. Scott was an intelligent, compassionate, humorous, philanthropic, caring man that I always enjoyed visiting at our reunions. Scott had a warmth and personality that drew everyone near. Congratulations on a life well lived, Scott. You will be sorely missed. Jim’s and my sincere sympathy to Scott’s family. 💕
Dear Kathy and family. My prayers and heart go out to you. Scott was so wonderful and kind to me and our classmates. My husband Howie also told me Scott never said an unkind word about anyone. God bless you all and help you to heal. Love, Kathy Kerchner
I never think of Scott that I don't think of that big smile that was always on his face and the twinkle in his eyes. Having know Scott all the way back to our days at Clinton School, he was always the kindest most welcoming person to everyone. Our classmates are all very lucky to have known such a fine person. My sympathy to Scott's family. Jane Brill Hepler
So sorry to hear of Scott's passing. Of all the people I have ever met in my life, he is one of the few that instantly comes to mind when thinking of positive inspiration. The world has lost a great one here, but his myriad contributions towards making it a better place and his total commitment to helping others will always be remembered.
Scott will always be in the hearts of our classmates and friends.
He was truly one of a kind. I was blessed (as were so many others) to have known him on this earth. I fortunately had the blessing of talking with him on the phone shortly before he passed. He will ALWAYS be remembered with a smile (and a tear or two) by everyone who knew him.
The commentary about Scott brings tears to my eyes--all of his accomplishments and generous
giving to the world is so like I remember him--humorous and so brilliant on many levels. My sincereest condolences to his family, colleagues, and friends. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Little did I every think during our chats after school that he would leave us so soon.
