
Sharon Heilman Bentz, 74, of Tiffin, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2023 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on May 06, 1949, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Urban and Mildred (Babb) Heilman.
She is survived by her beloved son, Christopher (Lori) Bentz of Tiffin; grandchildren; Cobin (Brooke) Bentz,of Centerburg, Austin (Chelsea) Bentz and Shelby (Dustin Waters) Kent, both of Tiffin, and Sydney (Allen) Brickner of Fostoria.
Sharon’s sunshine in life were her 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters; Suzanne (Gary) Heilman Knight of Burleson, Texas and Sandra (Steven) Maryanoff of Coral Springs, Florida; her sister by heart, Lisa Jordan of Tiffin; and her dog boys, Ollie and Stanley.
She was preceded in death by her partner of 36 years, Lee Weimerskirch; and ex-husband, Robert Bentz.
She enjoyed working in her flower beds, knitting, cooking for the family, and baking for her great grandchildren, who called her Ohma. Sharon retired from American Standard after decades of dedicated employment, was a bar manager at the VFW Post 2858 and loved her retirement job at Heritage IGA.
Sharon was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, AmVets Post 48, VFW Auxiliary 2858 and the Eagles Club.
Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Friends may visit from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419)-447-2424.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care Center or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
