Jane Hoover (Wilson)

Jane E. Wilson, 75, of Tiffin, passed away after her hard-fought battle with Glioblastoma, on Friday morning August 23, 2024 at Bethesda Care Center in Fremont.

She was born on November 24, 1948, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Royal J. and Ella Marie (Schleter) Hoover.  On November 25, 1967, she married Stephen Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen Wilson of Tiffin; sons, Gary (Melissa) Wilson and Gregory Wilson, both of Tiffin; brother, Steve Hoover of Dayton; sisters, Jean M. Pettaway of Bronx, NY, Kathleen (David Sipe) Fitzpatrick of Bettsville, Margaret (Larry) Spaun of Tiffin and Barbara (Larry) Aller of Findlay; grandchildren, Jake (Sara Bell) Wilson, Aaron Wilson, David (Emily) Biller, Gregory Wilson, Jr., Makayla Wilson, Monica (Ryan) Poignon and Michael Hornof; Great Grandchildren, Brystal Wilson, Norah Biller, Olivia Biller, Wade Morris, Ava Hornof, Cason Hornof, and Kyarie Hornof; Other family, She also had a large family with many nieces and nephews of which she loved them all dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Mother & Father-in-law, Grace & Kelley Wilson; brothers, Donald Hoover and Dale Hoover; sisters, Elizabeth Pachlhofer and Helen King; brother-in-law, Bob Pachlhofer; and grandson, T.J. Miller.

Jane graduated in 1967 from Tiffin Calvert High School. She loved working with people as she built her business with Home Interior & Gifts and later with Melaleuca.  She truly enjoyed that her job allowed her to always be helping people, which was one of her true passions.  She also loved that her job allowed her to be at home and spend time with her family. Family was her other true passion.  She always went the extra mile to make sure everything was special, fun, and memorable, it didn’t matter if it was a big family event or the littlest thing, she made it important. She truly cared about helping everyone be and do their best. Know this, if she ever met you, she cared about you.  Jane also worked at Tiffin Glass, and The Gordon Lumber company before starting her sales career. Jane was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God, and was devout in her Faith and relationship with Jesus.

Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Rex King officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

To Jane's family, so sorry to hear of Jane's passing! Hope she can be at peace now. I wasn't aware of her GBToma. But couple yrs ago we chatted on this website,& she talked freely of her Melaleuca success. I think it had changed her personality too, as she loved talking about
helping others, & the good vibes she'd get from doing it.I read where she was in FL,but didnt know if she was a snowbird? I hope everyone who was influenced by her, can speak up in her behalf,online anytime. May her good memories live on,for years to come. Sincerely, Sue Black
