Timothy Marshall Margraf, 58, of 297 Hedges St., Tiffin, died at 12:53 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born Jan. 26, 1949, in Tiffin, to Clarence Albert and Edna Marie (Daniel) Margraf. On July 18, 1975, he married Karen Ann Barnhart in St. Joseph Catholic Church. She proceeded him in death Aug. 24, 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Joshua (Akiko) Margraf of Seattle and James “Toby” Margraf of Tiffin; three daughters, Sara Margraf of Arlington, Va., Amanda Margraf of Watertown, N.Y., and Gabrielle Margraf of Tiffin; two grandchildren, Julianna and Felix Bogart; two brothers, Edward “Ted” (Eileen) Margraf of Tiffin and Thomas Margraf of New Riegel; two sisters, Christine (Roger) Cramer of Findlay and Cecilia (Nicholas) Biller of New Castle, Ind.; and his father-in-law, Harold Barnhart of Fostoria.
He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Cathy Margraf, and his mother-in-law, Catherine Barnhart.
Tim was a 1967 graduate of Calvert High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970. He worked in facilities and grounds maintenance at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. Tim was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he was a Eucharistic minister, helped with bingo and was a regular festival volunteer.
A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. The rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to Mass at the church. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, where the United Veterans Council of Seneca County will perform a military service.
