In Memory

Michael Musgrave

Michael Musgrave

Michael Musgrave entered his heavenly home on March 10, 2022, passing away in the Emergency Room of Promedica Hospital in Fostoria, OH.

He was born in Tiffin on March 4 1950, one of three children to the late Harold and Martha Musgrave.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Berman; brother, Steven (Regina) Musgrave; nieces, Christine (Marty) Ward and Jennifer Berman; and his great nieces, Cheyenne Ward and Tyler Ward.

He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Paul Berman.

Michael graduated in 1967 in one of the largest classes of Tiffin Calvert High School and was on the football team that won the conference title in 1966. He got his Bachelor of Computer Science degree from The Ohio State University in 1970. He went on to work as a system analyst for Ford Motor Company for 30 years. After his retirement, he worked for several Fortune 500 companies doing what he loved, working with computers, right up to a few months before he passed.

Though he worked out of state for several years, he came home to Tiffin often to see his parents and family and returned here after his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish.

Michael had many jobs but he always felt that helping his family was his most important one. He enjoyed taking his great nieces places and was dubbed the “transport captain”. He loved cars (Fords of course) and many times brought home luxury or sports cars for his mother and family to enjoy. He was always very supportive of his niece Jennifer, attending many of her activities at the Opportunity Center and just being there for anything she needed.

He was a lifetime member of the Ohio State Booster Club. He loved going to games and taking family members with him. He enjoyed going with family to Mud Hen games and Indians games also, and followed Calvert sports and enjoyed their seasons.

A funeral mass for Michael will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday March 24, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends can visit with the family from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass on Thursday at the Church.

Memorials may be made to the Opportunity Center Special Olympics Fund, St. Joseph the Worker Fund, or to the family.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

Condolences may be sent and the guestbook signed at www.hgmackfuneralhome.com.
