Calvin Lowery TIMMONSVILLE - Funeral service for Mr. Calvin "Penny" Lowery will be 2 PM Sunday in the Warren Chapel United Methodist Church in Lynchburg. Burial will be in the Hawkins Cemetery directed by Bacote-Eaddy Funeral Home of Timmonsville. He died Thursday April 29, 2010. He was born in Lynchburg, SC a son of Lottie Lowery and the late Melton Lowery. He attended the public
schools of Florence County. He was employed by Florence District One Public Schools and was a lifelong member of the Warren Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include: a son Eric (Tonyetta) Lowery; his mother, Mrs. Lottie Lowery; five sisters, Emma Lowery, Veronica Petti-grew, Betty Wilson, Trellis (Otis) Damon and Vern-estine (Walter) Clyburn; four brothers, Leroy (Abbie) Lowery, David (Hermenia) Lowery, Terry (Christine) Lowery and Melton (Janie) Lowery, Jr. The family is receiving friends at 206 E. McLendon St., Timmonsville.
