Tommy E. Snyder, 61 of Temperance, MI, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 in his home. Born, February 2, 1952 in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Carl E. and Ruth L. (Lutton) Snyder. A 1970 graduate of Start High School, he married Kathy M. Utcai on January 18, 1975 in Erie United Methodist Church. Tommy was employed by Jac Products in Saline, MI for the past 9 months. Prior, he worked for Paben-Harlow Die Cutting and Engraving and Janson Tool & Die, both in Toledo, OH. He was an active member of Erie United Methodist Church, where he had served on various committees. He enjoyed camping, working in his yard and NASCAR.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Kathy. Children, Matthew Snyder, Kelly (Josh) Laffartha and Marabeth (Billy) Lewis. Sisters, Linda Schroeder and Bonnie (Gary) Pratt. Grandchildren, Kylie, Taylor, Lucas, Maddie, Mason, Alyssandra and Dylan. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 2-9 pm Tuesday in the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am in Erie United Methodist Church, where he will lie in state after 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Erie Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
