'REMEMBERED WITH LOVE'

Diane Cherry (Putnam)

This is a tribute, Diane's daughter Quinn posted on Facebook.

With broken hearts, we share that our beautiful, selfless, and wildly creative mom passed away on Friday after battling leukemia. She was the most thoughtful soul — always putting others first, finding magic in the smallest details, and making life more beautiful. In her final week, she was surrounded by fresh flowers, sipping cocktails with her kids, and receiving an outpouring of love through heartfelt messages from friends and family. Hug your people, notice the little things, and raise a glass in her honor.

I knew Diane from first grade through high school. Diane was a beautiful person inside and out. She was creative, artistic and kind. I will miss you, dear friend.

Diane Cherry was a friend to all.  She had the most genuine smile.  She married Jim, who lived 6-7 houses from me (and Jeanne Radke) in the Toldeo Zoo neighborhood.  We discussed her dx and tx several times on FB PMs.  She was brave and an inspiration to me.  I shall try, for the remainder of my days, to exhibit some of the kindness she displayed every day.  Rest in peace and eternal light, old friend.
