'REMEMBERED WITH LOVE'

Jim Putnam

I just learned of Jim's passing yesterday. Jim and I were good friends at Bowsher. We played together on the tennis team for two years - along with Dale Beck and Lowell Weaner (Jim's doubles partner). Jim was a kind-hearted classmate with a wicked sense of humor. He will be missed. My heart goes out to Diane and their family.

Jim and Diane were a beautiful couple. I missed seeing them since I left Toledo in '78. I always remember playing with Jim and could depend on him to return the balls I missed and close the point. Jim bought a lot of tennis shoes as he dragged foot when he served and wore out the toe quickly. I look forward to the day when we will play together again on our Father's court.

I was so sad to hear of Jim's passing. Jim was such a great guy and he was so funny.

I always thought it was neat when Jim and Diane took over and ran the Glendale Flower Shop.

Diane and I also attended St. Petri Lutheran Church and attended the same schools starting with Beverly Elementary through Bowsher.

Jim will be sorely missed.

God bless you Diane and your entire family during these trying times.

Sincerely,

Kim Bostwick
