Pam was my best friend from age 11 thru high school. She died from injuries suffered in an auto accident in 1967.  We all have friends, but great friends are few. I still miss her and wonder if we would have become the funny old women you see together on cards laughing about getting older...I like to think we would have.

Please remember Pam....I know I will never forget her.

Pam is someone I don't remember not knowing.  At Arlington we almost always had the same teachers.  She was energetic and sweet as a child, and she grew into a charming and lovely young woman.  I was so happy for her when she started dating Dave Zimmerman.  After high school Dave and I used to play pool occasionally and I would see Pam.  I remember that she had a Corvair convertible.  The tragic accident that stole Pam from us haunts me to this day.  Dave and Pam were engaged at the time and I will forever feel for Dave's loss.

"Goodbye My Friend"

by Linda Ronstadt

Oh we never know where life will take us

I know it's just a ride on the wheel

And we never know when death will shake us

and we wonder how it will feel

So,  goodbye my friend

I know I'll never see you again

but the time together through all the years

will take away these tears

It's ok now

Goodbye my friend

Joy and Jack, I never knew Pam like you both did. We were casual fiends, enough to say "hii" in the Bowsher hallways. I just want you to know I appreciate your  comments. It is a way for me to get to know Pam (and you) many years after the tragic event.

I look forwared to the reunion. I keep in touch with Tom Terrill who lives with his wife, Liz, in Florida and have encouraged hin to attend the reunion though he is  a  long ways away.
