Bill moved to our block on Woodsdale about the 5th grade. There were already three of us the same age living close by. Carl Klostermeier lived behind me, and Gary Berndt lived across the street from me. Bill's parents built a house about two doors from Berndts. It was great having kids my age so close by. The four of us hung around together until Gary moved to Iowa just before Bowsher opened. It was a little awkward with the three of us and Bill and I had a falling out. Thankfully, we made friends again after high school. The last time I saw Bill was at Carl's funeral. I tried to find him a few years ago with no success. Bill had a lovely wife and they raised twins. Sorry that I didn't find you earlier Bill.
