March 2, 1950 - September 9, 2017

Laura Kesting, 67, of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. Mrs. Kesting served in the US Marines. She was a Budget Analyst for the US Government for over 25 years, and a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, David Kesting; son, Ted Holmes, daughter, Sarah Tighe, grandchildren, Clare Holmes, Tony Kesting and Vincent Tighe; sister, Ann Lyles; and brothers, Mike and David Lyles. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 13 at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow at the church with the Rev. Hal Oakley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Published in The Huntsville Times on Sept. 13, 2017.
