Martha S. Taylor, 66, of Huntsville, passed away on Monday at Crestwood Hospital. Martha was born on August 14, 1950 and graduated from Sparkman High School before attending Florence State University. There she met her husband, Jerry Taylor to whom she was married for 45 years. She loved him dearly but he loved her even more. Martha was a special, kind, loving, gentle person and always had a positive outlook on life. She loved her family and God. She leaves behind her husband, Jerry Taylor, her son, Jerry Kent Taylor, her brother, Bill Stewart of Kansas, and her sister, Sherri Stewart of Indiana. She is also survived by her six grandchildren who were the light of her life: Elijah Taylor, Eleigha Taylor, Kelly Taylor, Jenny Taylor, Emileigh Taylor, and Bradley Tate. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.B. and Mary Stewart and by her son, Tracy Wayne Taylor. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 4 until 6:30pm at Winchester Road Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:30pm at the church. Graveside services will be on Friday at Noon at Maple Hill Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
