I am sorry to hear the passing of Bud.He was a good friend in junior high. We played basketball in the early mornings in 8 th grade and in 9th we got to practice at night at Oakland's gym. It was memorable to get together at one of our reunions and visit with you,Pat Long, and Mary Mathers. The best memory I had of Bud was he was a loyal and authentic friend. Erik Hedstrom

I first knew Bud as a former classmate, but later in life I worked with him at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas. He was a great guy and was always friendly and upbeat anytime I saw him. As a retired police officer, he had the respect of all the BCBSKS employees who trusted his judgement and commitment to keeping us safe in our work environment. He was a fun person and a person who was very proud of his family and loved them all dearly.

Our sons played baseball together and I knew the whole family. I am so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. I know Mary and the children and grandchildren will miss him. He was a special person.
