Linda and I became friends at age 12, when she moved from Capper to Boswell. We remained special friends until her death. After Frank died, she seemed to have lost her will to live. Last summer she had two surgeries. The first one was a hip replacement and two weeks later was to repair a tear in a hernia in her abdomen. Her daughter, Timi, said she never got her mother back after that. In the last couple of weeks prior to her death they said her kidneys were shutting down, and she refused to start dialysis. She was then moved to the Midland Hospice House. She will be missed by all who knew her!

I'm so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I remember her from high school so well, but haven't kept up with her since that time, so I was so glad to read Marcia's comments. My prayers & condolances to the family & friends.

Linda was my girlfriend at Boswell. She was smart, witty, and just plain wonderful to be with. And, yes, she was cute. She was a good friend as well, and with Marcia Oroke and her boyfriend, we spent lots of time together. She was fun at the THS reunuions as well and I suspect she and Marcia were the organizers behind a Get Well banner when I had Cancer in 1995. RIP, Linda Fae.

Linda was a friend forever. We were roommates on many trips and cruises that our group took. She was always so fun to be with. We became friends at Topeka High and then continued our friendship throughout our entire life.I will miss her.

I, too, have many fond memories of Linda from our years at THS. Perhaps most vivid is her standout performance as Bloody Mary in South Pacific. Diminutive Linda belting out Bali Hai. She was terrific!

Linda and I were neighbors and classmates at Capper Jr High until she moved to Boswell area. We were classmates again at THS. .We always had fun as kids suntanning and swimming in the summer..... Linda always had that beautiful tan and all I got was more freckles! We would often have sleepovers in my backyard with other friends and stay up late telling ghost stories. I am saddened to hear that she lost her will to live after Frank died. We are all getting to that point in life where we lose someone and its not easy.
