Classmate Hilda (Erickson) Enewold of Topeka, passed away August 3 at Midlands Hospice, Topeka.  She was the daughter of Charles and Maureen (O’Conner) Erickson.  After THS,  she earned an Associate degree from Washburn and was employed by the Topeka Public Schools and Millard Public Schools in Omaha, Nebraska.

Hilda was a long-time member of Most Pure of Mary Catholic Church and asks for contributions be made to the church in lieu of flowers.  She was also a member of the Washburn Alumni Association, Friends of the Topeka Zoo and the Friends of the Topeka Public Library.

Husband Rick Enewold survives as well of her children Anne (Scott) Starbuck of Topeka, Monica (John) McBride of Omaha, Amy (Peter) Mahoefer of Dallas, five grandchildren  and two great-grandchildren. (complete obituary with recent picture available on www.dovetopeka.com/obituary

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 7 at her church where family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service.  Private internment at a later date.
