John Martin's passing was reported on cjonline.com. He died October 27, 2013 in Topeka, with his family by his side. The obituary tells us that John's family moved to Topeka and he graduated from Topeka High (Class of 1961) and then attended Washburn University. It says that John was alwalys a faimly man being very interested in his children and grandchildren and was active in the Big Brothers progarm. John called me "out of the blue" several years ago when he was still living here in California. He reminded me that I helped him from time to time on his paper route; I reminded him of being a terrified passenger on his Vespa as he sped down the allys near Boswell....A good friend duing Randolph and Boswell but we drifted in different directions at THS.
