Classmate Kathleen Marie (Loebsack) Mettner, 78, passed away on February 23, 2022.  Kay was born December 22, 1943, in Wichita, KS.  She attended Randolph Elementary, Capper Jr. High, Topeka High, and attended Washburn University.

Kay worked for the Kansas Mental Health Association of Social Workers, where she supported those with mental struggles.  She was involved with the Democrat Party and started a consulting firm with Jett Elmer.  She worked for News TV, providing film crews for major networks, and purchased the business before retiring in 2006.

Kay is survived by her husband, Randy, two sons, Michael Randolph Mettner and Robert Bradley Mettner, several grandchildren, three sisters, as well as stepbrothers and sisters.
