Classmate Marilyn Preston Romine passed away on April 7, 2017 at the age of 74. She worked for over 20 years at Columbian Title and Trust in Topeka. She volunteered at the Topeka Public Library and for United Way. She was a member of Northland Christian Church. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and Douglas Appenfeller and their wives; two brothers, Paul and George Preston and their wives; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held on Thursday, April 13 at Davidson's Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are to be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier, Topeka, KS 66606.
