Phillip Carper-Morris was born December 17, 1943 and passed June 21, 2019.  Phil was a member of the kindergarten class of 1949, sometimes referred to in Brown vs Board of Education of Topeka.  His picture and others of the THS class of 1961 hangs in the National Historic Site.  

Phil served in the United States Air Force from 1962-1965, and was honorably discharged.  He was employed in a number of positions.  He was involved in the security for the Russian exhibit, “The Treasure of the Czars”, in 1995.  At the time of his passing, he was employed at Peaceful Rest Funeral Chapel…...Thanks to classmate Eisha Bernard Hurd for this information.
