I came to know Ralph as we attended East Topeka Junior High and were teammates on the football team. While we attended THS, we were with different groups. Ralph always had a healthy sense of humor. We followed seperate paths after High School. When I returned to Topeka, I found Ralph had been working for an optical company. He still maintained contact with the guys from the neighborhood like Curtis Gentry and Albert Young. Ralph became an assistant minister at Fellowship of Faith years back. That church joined with another congregation and Ralph found a new calling. He served the last ten years of his life as asistant minister at Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church. He will be missed in the community.
