Tom left us way too early! I remember a night at KTOP. I was working nights. A bunch of us had been out carousing earlier in the evening. And, consuming a large amountof Schlitz Beer (our favorite in '61) The "bunch" was in the studio while I was doing the 10 PM newscast. There was a very large stack of empty Schlitz cans in the middle of the studio. And --yes-- Tom Clark decided it wouldbe fun to kick them --- while I was on the air! Lotta noise!! Amazingly I didn't get fired!
