Ray completed high school with us while serving in the Air Force at Forbes AFB. He was a little older than us and his widow tells us that he was thrilled when he graduated from THS. He spent 23 years in the service of his country and retired in Colorado Springs to be near their two sons. They made numerous trips back to Topeka over the years and still love Topeka Kansas. His widow tells us further that she knew he would be coming to the 50th if he were still alive.
