Douglas M. "Doug" Lester passed away March 7, 2007 at the Episcopal Church Home in Louisville, Kentucky. He died of (very rare) Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. He was an accomplished banker and financial service executive in Louisville. He left behind wife, children and grand children as well as two sisters, one Irene Black living in Topeka. The Lester family expressed their thanks for the care given to Doug at Episcopal Church Home. Guessing, knowone is surprised that he worked as a banker.

Rest in Peace Doug ! I am sorry we didn't get to complee our summer adventure upon graduation from THS ! We were close friends and had planned , upon graduation, to mosey out west to Colby, Kansas where we were going to roll up our sleeves and erect quonset huts on farmlands , working for his Brother in law, Paul Dixon who was an Enginer. At the last minute, Doug canceled but I continued on with the plan. It was an eye opening adventure! I made all kinds of lifelong friends! I wish you had been there Doug. You continue to be thought of and missed !
