In going through some old files, I found that Marilyn and her husband, Dr. James D. Reynolds, Jr., were killed when their private air plane crashed in western Kansas on January 31, l987. They were both very active in church work and in the community of Overland Park and the Kansas City area. Dr. Reynolds (class of l959) and his wife flew once a week to to take his specialized medicine to small communities in Kansas and Missouri. At the time of their deaths, they left behind two young children. I did not know Marilyn until we met when our husbands were in University of Ksansas Medical School. We lost track of them after medical school. They were great people and it was a great loss to all who came in contact with them.
