Career, Life Experiences:
Reflections of the past fifty years would fill a book so I will try to keep this short.
I continued my education in nursing and specialized in ICU care.
I married and had four children, two boys and two girls. I now have thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. My children all attended HPHS.
I was blessed with the opportunity to live in Guam for six years, New York City for three years, South Dakota and Kentucky. I returned to Topeka in 1979. In 1985 I purchased a home in Highland Park. This would be a full circle.
My hobbies have been geneology, gardening, cub scouting, sewing and oil painting.
I did foster for six years after retiring.
I have had many blessings over the past fifty years. HPHS was just the beginning for my successes.
