Mary L. Doherty, 55, Topeka, entered into rest March 7, 2004, at her home. She was born Aug. 26, 1948, at Emporia, the daughter of Denvil "Bud" and Patricia Feverly Derringer. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1966. Mary worked at several nurseries in Topeka. She married Lynn Doherty on July 4, 1983, in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Melanie Doherty; two stepbrothers, Jerry and Merle Reddick and their families, Topeka; and an aunt, Mary Sheldon.
I shared some good times with you Mary eating lunch together, oh the hot rolls and a lot of butter I can smell and taste them now. You talked a lot about Lynn Dotherty back then. It is so hard for me to believe that you are gone and other classmates too. Rest in peace my friend.
