Reading the life stories of our fellow classmates has been a real inspiration, and I'd like to thank those who have shared. None of us came from privileged backgrounds and many have had financial, health, and other obstacles in our paths. It would be easy to dwell on how hard life can be, but I'm uplifted by your attitudes and how you have lived your lives. Some have lost spouses after years of marriage, yet your postings speak of the love and happiness you had. Others have faced serious health challenges, yet remain positive and focus on the blessings of life. And so many chose careers that serve others. I'd like to think that the brief period of time we spent in high school (6% of our lives at age 50) helped shape who we became. While there may the bitter and burned out among our class, we have yet to hear to from them. As it stands today, I'm proud to be a member of the HPHS Class of 1975. Jeff Morris |

RE: Blessings Posted Thursday, July 1, 2010 09:31 AM Amen to that. Nobody said life would be fair, although some people think it should be. Sounds like most of us clawed our way out of the "hood" and had pretty good lives. Pray for those that made it and those that didn't. Mike Shaver |
