Keith and I played on the basketball team. After school I would see him from time to time and we always stopped and talked. I remember the last time I saw Keith we talked for a long while and as we parted he gave me a hug and said "It was great seeing you Eddie". It was a little out of character to get a hug but shortly after that he passed away. I attended his funeral and was very touched by Rev. James Kirtdoll's stories of them growing up on the west side of Highland Park. Keith was a nice guy.
