Charles Earl Damron
November 23, 1947 - January 30, 2018

Charles Earl Damron, 70, of Livingston, Texas was born November 23rd 1947 in McAllen Texas to Fred Damron (US Army Veteran & Mason) and Nadine Allen-Damron. Charlie graduated from Highland Park High School in 1965 and joined the United States Navy where he was a veteran of the Vietnam War from 65 to 68. Stationed on board the USS Constellation as a jet engine mechanic at Guam. One flight over Vietnam their plane crashed in the jungle, it took them 10 days but they managed to survive and walk out.

In June 27th 1976 he married Shirley Ann Hillhouse-Damron and is survived by her, their only child Jennifer Eileen Damron-Fultz and four grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Ginger Damron-Page. Charlie owned and operated CD trucking in Topeka Kansas where he drove dump truck and assisted in Quarry projects. Chuck and Shirley eventually retired and moved to Indian Springs Texas where he enjoyed his time helping neighbors and the community. Charlie was a very strong man he enjoyed working on vehicles and sharing his knowledge with others we will be forever grateful for knowing this Gentle Spirit.
