SPARKS, NV- Kent Charles Mahaffey, 63, of Sparks, NV passed away April 19, 2010 at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV. He was born November 24, 1946 in Topeka, Kansas to Kenneth and Enid Bennett Mahaffey. Kent served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. His mother, father and half brother Don Kelley preceded him in death. He is survived by his son Shawn and wife Christy Mahaffey of Baldwin City, KS, his son Nathan and wife Cathy Mahaffey of Sparks, NV, their mother Patricia Gatz, and 2 grandchildren; Cole and Aubrey Mahaffey.
