Anthony (Tony) Joseph Newman, born on June 4, 1946 in Monet, MO went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2009. He attended Highland Park High School and enlisted in the Navy in 1964. He Served in Vietnam on the River boats after he had been on the USS Bon-Homme Richard Air Craft carrier as an radar operator also on the USS York Town. He worked in all areas of construction. He is survived by his wife Aletha Newman, daughter & son-in-law Annette & Jammie Middendorf and son & daughter-in-law Eddie & Kathy Babcock, grandchildren Joshua & Zachery Odom, Krystal & Ashley Price & 3 great grand children. Brother of John & Jerry Steward and sisters Judy Hardings & Janice Foster.
