In Memory

Jennifer Barrett (Pellington)

JENNIFER BARRETT (PELLINGTON)

December 18, 1961  -   JULY 30, 2004

Barrett-Pellington, Jennifer Jennifer's deeply treasured and all too brief time with us ended on July 30 when she passed away following an ongoing illness. Jennifer was an angel to everone who ever met her. A loving and nurturing mother and wife to her family, Mark and Isabella Clare; devoted sister and daughter to mother and father, Maureen and Jim; and brothers, Stephan and Robert and sister, Kim. Jennifer's spirit was a guiding force to all those around her. She was born on December 18, 1961 and spent much of her life living in Los Angeles. Her creativity, sense of style, and beauty focused her on a successful career initially modeling and subsequently as a costume designer in feature films, commercials, and videos. Jennifer took great pleasure in helping people and getting things done. Her greatest accomplishment was the creation, with her loving husband Mark, of her beautiful young daughter, Isabella Clare. We will never, ever forget her beautiful spirit, but she will live on through her treasured family and all those who will keep her memory alive in their hearts. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2004, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Church of the Hills. Funeral service to be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 5, 2004, at Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Forest Lawn Mortuary.

When I first began attending J.H. Hull Middle School, Jennifer was one of the first people to sort of invite me in. I felt awkward and shy but Jennifer treated me as though I was just as "cool" as she was. Yes, she was very cool and I'm sorry she has left us. It would have been nice to see her after all these years. Jennifer, I hope you are in peace.

Love, ~athena
