There has been a lot of talk about repeating this reunion next time for our 40th. This always frightens me. I am afraid it can never be the same. We had great weather. This helps to add to the enjoyment of the evening. I am looking for some opinions to think about . We do not need to start arrangements until 2 years before, but I would like to hear what people think.

I enjoyed our 35th reunion tremendously but you are correct that we were lucky that the weather cooperated.  I know some people did not attend because the bathrooms were port-a-pottys.  I would prefer a causal setting indoors. A formal setting with assigned seats would not be fun.

Wow I can't beleive you two were the only two that had anything to say about the reunion. I was not going to go orignally and I admit I would of been way wrong not to go. It was fun. Hey you don't have to stay until the wee hours of the morning like we did when we were in High School to have a good time. I left at 10 pm but by then I had already made the rounds twice. From what I hear most everybody was gone by 10:30 anyway. Also I was at the club the night before so how much more can you say right? It was nice to spend a few hours with everybody and the weather was great. I do like the two night/day thing. For some the going down the Elks was all they could do and also it provides a different atmosphere. I like the picnic thing and I thought I would not like it. I think a bit earlier in the year maybe mid-late August. Before Labor Day. But it was very nice and I wish more had gone. I'm glad I went. Good job. Larry

Larry,  The crowd thinned around 10:30pm but 20 people each night headed to "TPlace," Alan Kittle's sports bar.  Alan arranged to have a famous band on that Friday night for us to enjoy.  I think we danced and enjoyed several drinks until about 1 or 1:30am.  I definately felt like a teenager.

 Hey thats great. You know my wife and I feel like that all the time. We take a lot of trips and I admit we stay up for long hours when we go. One trip we were at the clubs When we had our reunion I went to the club and stayed until around 10:30. But I had to go to work the next day for 6:00 so I could not go out after. I worked until 11:30 on the day of the reunion so by the time 10:00 came on Saturday I was getting tired. That is just the way it is, I'm glad you guys had a good time.

I hate it when work gets in the way!  It was great to see you.  Next reunion, you are staying out late with the rest of us. I'd love to meet your wife.  If I'm not mistaken, she did not attend the reunion.

I'm missing this year's 40th reunion.  My husband and I will be vacationing in Croatia. If you attend, please take lots of pictures and post them.  I would love to see how everyone has changed. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the 35th reunion. Have fun! Lillian
