Paula Gilbert, 52, of Torrington, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at home.
Paula was born in Torrington on Aug. 1, 1957, the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Opperman) Gilbert and was a graduate of Torrington High School. She was employed by the Electric Motion Co. in Winchester.
She is survived by a sister, Debra Sanders of Marco Island, Fla. and her aunt, Mary Opperman of Torrington. She was predeceased by her brother William Gilbert.

Brenda Kantor Becker just emailed me from Arizona telling me of Paula's passing. We were such good friends in high school. My sympathy and prayers go out to her family.
