Going through old photos last night brought back many Carver memories. This is such a sad loss for the Carver Community and for John's family. I am sure we will all remember John with love.

I was in such shock when I heard the news. John was always so positive and always had a smile on his face. Rest assured he will be with us in spirit during our reunion. My condolences go out to the family. John, thank you for such great high school memories!

John's death definitely comes as a shock, but it is inspiring to see the outpouring of love in Atlanta in the wake of this tragedy. I was looking forward to seeing him at the reunion, now i am reminded of how short life truly is, we are not guaranteed tomorrow. a sobering thought as we look forward to seeing each other this year.

John and I were in several classes together.  One in particular was math.  When Jay Z became really big in 1998.  John came into class, he was so pumped about the song "Hard Knock Life"  The teacher had to tell him to quiet down.  That was John.  At Carver, we all know the theatre prime was kind of stuck up, but John was able to break through that, and became like a part of the theatre family.  My heart goes out to his family.  He was always so funny, and fun to talk to.  It is really sad to see the lost of such a good person.
