School Story:
I have to say I don't have a ton of fond memories of high school. I wasn't in the right cliques, but I had fun with the few friends who were on the outside, too. I guess I learned a little in class, too.
-Band was always a hoot, especially when we were winning trophies. I do wish I'd practiced more (at all, actually) and been a better musician.
-I'm happy that David James and I started the fashion trend of wearing jeans with a dress shirt and sport coat.
-Working on the yearbook staff was fun, but reading it now reminds me how difficult it was to write great captions for the sports section.
-I still have flashbacks to Mrs. Waynor and her Faulkner fetish...the fear never quite goes away.
-Loved hanging with David, Liz-ard, Steve, Ronnie and getting beat up by Gene.
-Still remember Teddy Kirkstetter burping the alphabet. That dude had talent!!
-Now that I'm getting older and have to think about what I eat, I miss the in-school runs to Hardee's or McD's for a mid-day "snack" with a few classmates.
