McCoy, Jean (Mancinelli) CLIFTON PARK Jean H. McCoy, 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2014, encircled by her loving family. Jean was born and raised in Troy, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Leopold) Mancinelli. She was a member of the graduating class of 1957 of Troy High School. On February 2, 1958, Jean was married to her sweetheart, Patrick McCoy, at St. Peter's Church in Troy and they shared more than 55 years together. In her early married life, Jean and Patrick had resided in West Lebanon and Sand Lake and later moved to Ballston Spa, where they raised their family. They have resided in Clifton Park for the past 30 years. Over the years, Jean held several different jobs but most recently was employed by Dr. Arnold Alfret, D.D.S. in Milton and Dr. Richard Herbold in Clifton Park, from where she retired. Throughout her life Jean had a love for horses, owning her own as a young girl and in more recent times, having involvement with Stonecroft Farms in Stillwater. She also loved to travel and visited much of the United States as well as countries around the globe including Italy, South Korea, China and Greece. Jean loved nothing more than the times spent with family and friends. She loved them and they in turn loved her and she will truly be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Jean was the much-loved wife of Patrick McCoy; the loving mother of Debra J. McCoy of Niskayuna, Kevin P. McCoy (Susan) of Syracuse, Dennis M. McCoy of Cohoes, Brian T. (Charlene) McCoy of Williamsburg, Va., and Terrence A. McCoy of Austin, Texas; the cherished grandmother of Christopher of Chesapeake, Va., Shannon and Wayne of Niskayuna and Dalia of Williamsburg; the sister of the late Marion Mancinelli; cousin of Ann Cluett of Poestenkill and Kathleen Hildebrant of Phoenix, Ariz.; aunt of Denise Potenza, Frank Bagarose and Brendan McCoy, and dear friend of Jean Delaney, to whom the family offers heartfelt thanks for a lifetime of friendship and for the endless amounts of love, care and support, especially during these past difficult days. A service, in celebration of Jean's life, will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 11 a.m., in the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham. A private interment will be held in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Friends are invited and may also visit with Jean's family on Monday from 5 until 7 p.m., at the funeral home. So sorry to hear of Jean's passing.  God be with Pat and her family at the difficult time.  It is so sad to hear the new of a fellow classmate no longer with us.  Carol (Mahar) Julian
