Lewis, Barbara Ann COHOES On December 28, 2012, Barbara Ann Lewis of Cohoes, N.Y. passed away at the age of 73. The daughter of Don C. Lewis and Mildred Lewis (nee Shoemaker) of Troy N.Y., she was a 1957 graduate of Troy High School and attended Albany Business College. She most recently served as a residential instructor with Living Resources, an operator of group homes for the disabled. Previous occupations included administrative responsibilities with Norton Company, Mohawk Paper and the New York State Department of Health. An intensely loyal friend, she was a modest, kind, quiet woman who enjoyed reading mystery books, and was a passionate cat owner. Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard W. Lewis and Robert Lewis. She is survived by two brothers, Donald Lewis of Lillian, Ala. and Gordon William Lewis of Hagerstown, Md., 12 nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces and nephews.
