Colwill, Joyce M. Burdick, TROY  Joyce M. Burdick Colwill, 73, formerly of Fifth Avenue in North Troy, died on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Eddy Heritage House Nursing Center after a long illness.  Born in Albany, she was daughter of the late Samuel J. Burdick and Helen Jarvis Burdick and wife of the late Charles W. H. Colwill. She had resided in Troy for most of her life and was a graduate of Troy Public School 16, Troy High School and Hudson Valley Community College.  Mrs. Colwill was employed as a systems accountant for the Watervliet Arsenal. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Troy. Survivors include a son, Bryant C. (Sarah) Colwill of Wynantskill, a sister, Margaret Elizabeth Dayter of Spencer, her grandchildren, David Charles (Rachael) Dean of Troy and Shannon and Ethan Colwill of Wynantskill and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Sheri Dean of Troy and a granddaughter, Ashleigh Joycelynne Dean, and two brothers, Samuel J. Burdick and Martin G. Burdick . . . . . .
