Herrington, Jeffrey P. Sr. TROY Jeffrey P. Herrington Sr. passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital after (a) brief illness. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Caufield Herrington and husband of the late Ann C. Grillo Herrington. Jeff was a graduate of Troy High School, was employed by the City of Troy as a firefighter retiring with the rank of Captain, and served in the New York National Guard. He was a member of the Uniformed (Fire)fighters Assoc., Troy Lodge of Elks, Brunswick Sportsmens Club, North Troy Stage Rod and Gun Club, and the Tuesday Mens and Thursday Mixed Bowling Leagues at the Green Island Lanes. Survivors include his daughters, Lisaann and Susan Marie Herrington both of Rochester, N. Y.; a son, Jeffrey (Suzy) Herrington Jr. of Troy; his grandson, Joseph Herrington of Troy, and his long time companion, Ginny Holcomb. . . . . . . .
