“Jackie” Redmond died on December 5, 2000, after a long illness. He was employed at the Watervliet Arsenal for seventeen years and by the State of New York for ten years prior. He was a veteran of the U.S. army and served during the Vietnam era. He was the father of three daughters, Brianna, Tara and Shanna Redmond of Clifton Park. He was buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.
