Raymond E. Snyder

 

Obituary from the Troy Record, September 21, 2005:

LATHAM - Raymond E. Snyder, 60, of Latham, entered into eternal rest on Sunday at his home.  Born in Gloversville, he was the son of the late Harold and Leona Baird Snyder.  Ray was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1963 to 1974 as an aircraft and mine sweeper and in the U.S. Navy from 1976 to 1983 as a petty officer.  Ray was employed with the Watervliet Arsenal. 

Survivors include his brothers Harold, Charles, Gerald, William and Clifford Snyder, all of Troy; his sisters Deborah Finch of Pennsylvania and Cindy Nolan of Kansas; and the Late Carl Snyder. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. 


Family and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 Third St. in Troy.  Graveside service will be held at the Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date.
