Bloomer, Ellin Marie HASTINGS, Mich. Ellin (Lynn, "Bloom") Bloomer, 62, most recently from Hastings, died May 13, 2009 at her home. Born and raised in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Ellen Bloomer of Troy. Predeceased by a brother, James Bloomer. She was a longtime employee of Albany Medical Center, working in its ICU and emergency departments. She retired to Mich. in 2004, where she enjoyed boating and fishing. Survivors include three brothers, Michael (Karen) Bloomer of Boytonville, William (Catherine) Bloomer of Boytonville, Thomas (Christina) of Hoosick Falls; many beloved nieces, nephews; and dearest friends, Sharon Boyko and Terri Simpson. A memorial service will be held at the Grace Fellowship in the student center on October 10, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. located at 20 Delatour Road, Latham, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grace Fellowship in Ellin's name.
